Thursday, 5/26/2005 - After a little more sightseeing on the North rim,
we drove on to Zion National Park. The feel of Zion is quite different from the Grand Canyon, although just as spectacular, because at Zion you are inside the canyon:
The rivers in the Southwest are all at flood levels. In fact, one of the most popular trails up a canyon is closed because parts are under water:
We stayed in Springdale, just outside the park, at a very nice Best Western:
I had a "Polygamy Porter" with dinner brewed in, where else, Salt Lake City.
