Friday, Sep 7, 2012 - We left our gracious host Pam and headed for our next B&B in Kenmare.
On the way, we stopped in the interesting town of Macroom. This is normal parking practice:

Later we toured Muckross house, a huge estate near Killarney built in 1843. While waiting for Laura to return from the woolen shop, I chatted with a couple from Northern Ireland.
We then continued through part of the Killarney National Park on towards Kenmare, on one of those narrow roads, only this time there were big tour buses coming the other way!
This fellow was offering boat rides to tourists:
Arrived at the Hawthorn House B&B in Kenmare. We were an easy walk from all the action in the center of town.
We had a nice dinner at Foley's pub. I think I had a Murphy's Stout. The waitress was German. We found quite a few of the waiters in both Ireland and Scotland were from other countries.
